Dr. Bo Zhou is Senior Vice President and Global Head of Client Experience Technology and Business Services. In this role, Bo is responsible for the client experience technology platforms and business services, partnering with the Client Coverage Group to deliver a digitally enabled, personalized, scalable service model.
She has 20 years of deep commercial and technology leadership experience across the U.S. and APAC. Prior to joining State Street Investment Management in 2025, she held leadership roles spanning PICO, IHS Markit (now S&P Global), Bloomberg, BNP Paribas, and Deutsche Bank in New York and Hong Kong. As Head of APAC at PICO and Partner/Senior Managing Director at IHS Markit, she consistently achieved strong annual growth from 2018 to 2024. At Bloomberg, she spearheaded electronic trading solutions, enhanced RMB product offerings, and led complex cross-border initiatives, solidifying the company’s market leadership. She started her career in fixed income trading and research in NYC. She also advocates for Diversity & Inclusion, founding IHS Markit’s "Women in Leadership" forum. Recognized for her contributions, she was named HERoes Top 100 Women Executive (2021 & 2024) and HSBC Top 20 Ethnically Diverse Women Role Model (2022).
Bo holds a doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering, as well as a Financial Technology Certificate from MIT, alongside a Bachelor of Science from Fudan University.
