Christyann Weltens

Christyann Weltens is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment risk management and client investment oversight. Currently serving as the Vice President and OCIO Investment Risk Leader at State Street Global Advisors since October 2019, Christyann previously held roles at State Street, including AVP Risk Analyst, where important contributions included enhancing risk oversight for OCIO clients and promoting best practices during a transformative period. Christyann's career began at GE, where roles ranged from Investment Performance and Risk Analyst to Client Investment Manager, overseeing $30 billion in equity assets for over 120 institutional clients. Earlier, Christyann gained foundational experience in trade operations at GE and Fidelity Investments. Christyann holds an MBA in Finance from Fairfield University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
