David Wang

David Wang, PhD CFA, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Data, Analytics and AI Services at State Street Investment Management since June 2025. Previously, David held the position of Managing Director for Artificial Intelligence and Financial Engineering at State Street from February 2018 to June 2025, where the focus was on leveraging artificial intelligence and big data for enhanced investment strategies and operational efficiencies. Prior experience includes managing director roles at Copula Capital Inc. and various positions at Western Asset Management, Fidelity Investments, and State Street Corp, emphasizing asset management, quantitative modeling, risk management, and advanced analytics. David holds a PhD in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence in Financial Time Series and an MBA in Entrepreneurship. Additional academic credentials include an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
