Basith Ahamed

Basith Ahamed is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as Vice President of Global Cybersecurity in Defensive Engineering & Architecture at State Street since September 2023, where Basith leads a team focused on driving cybersecurity transformation initiatives. Previously, Basith held the position of Director of Information Security Engineering at Gap Inc. from October 2019 to September 2023, and served as Senior Manager of Global Information Security, Architecture & Engineering at BD from November 2017 to October 2019, overseeing critical security programs and incident response. Basith’s earlier roles include Senior Consultant at Incyte, Senior Manager of Information Security at HCL Technologies, and various positions at Shire, GTT, and CSS Corp, demonstrating a robust background in managing security operations, engineering, and incident response.
