Dewayne Sharp

Dewayne Sharp is a seasoned cybersecurity and risk management professional with extensive experience in both government and private sectors. As Managing Director at State Street since February 2021, Dewayne Sharp plays a pivotal role on the technology security risk executive team, focusing on risk policy and frameworks. Prior to this, Dewayne Sharp served for two decades at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), progressing from Special Agent to Cybersecurity Operations Executive, leading the Enterprise Security Operations Center and overseeing the insider threat program as Co-founder and Deputy Chief. Dewayne Sharp's career began in the US Army as an Infantry Officer, where various small unit command and staff positions were held. Dewayne Sharp holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Studies from American Public University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Military History with a minor in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
