John Tucker

John Tucker serves as the Global Head of Equity Index at State Street Global Advisors, overseeing $2.5 trillion in assets since January 2017. In addition, John Tucker holds the position of COO of Investments, managing Global Trading, Investment Oversight, and Technology strategy within the Investment Management division. An experienced leader, John Tucker has been with SSGA since 1988, where responsibilities have included serving as Managing Director and heading US Index and ETF (SPDR) Portfolio Management, as well as functioning as a Portfolio Manager. John Tucker holds a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Trinity College-Hartford.
