Lee Hooper

Lee Hooper is an experienced genealogist and historical researcher with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as a Senior Genealogist at State Trustees since January 2017, Lee also co-creates, co-hosts, and researches for the Dead & Buried podcast, which explores the complex history of Melbourne City. Previously, Lee held the position of Director and Historical Researcher at Born & Bred Historical Research until June 2021, specializing in family history research and narrative documentation. Lee's earlier roles include Access Service Officer at the Public Record Office Victoria and various customer service positions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Historical Inquiry and Practice from the University of New England and a Diploma of Library and Information Services from Swinburne University of Technology, among other certifications in customer contact and office skills.
