Lisa Sommer

Lisa Sommer has over two decades of experience in public affairs and communications, currently serving as a Public Affairs Manager at State Farm® since October 2000. In this role, Lisa has specialized in communications analytics, social media, brand and reputation management, internal communications, and catastrophe communications. Prior to joining State Farm®, Lisa worked as a Supervisor of Foster Care at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois from 1997 to 1999. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
