James "Jake" Bookwalter serves as the Senior Vice President of State and International Issues at Stateside Associates, a position held since December 2011. In this role, Bookwalter oversees a team focused on tracking and analyzing global policy across various regions, advising clients on political trends and legislative engagement. Previous roles at Stateside Associates include Vice President and Senior Manager for Issues and Information, where Bookwalter specialized in monitoring legislation related to energy and environmental policy across sixteen states. Prior to work at Stateside Associates, Bookwalter was a Legislative Aide for the Connecticut House Republicans, supporting multiple Representatives in various capacities. Bookwalter holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from Trinity College-Hartford.
