Silke Giesler

Silke Giesler has extensive work experience, starting with their role as a (Junior) Analyst at Statista from January 2012 to June 2015. Silke then progressed to become a Managing Analyst / Teamleiterin Research & Analysis at Statista GmbH from July 2015 to December 2016. Afterwards, they served as the Head of Industry Analysis at Statista from January 2017 to June 2018, and then as the Director of Industry Analysis from July 2018 to December 2020. From January 2021 to December 2022, Silke held the position of Senior Director at Statista. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President Data Analysis and Operations - Statista R at Statista, starting from January 2023.

Prior to their time at Statista, Silke gained experience as Vertretung der Geschäftsleitung / Dispatcherin at AMS OverNight Service from February 2005 to March 2011.

Silke also completed a brief internship as Praktikantin Verlagsgeschäftsführung Vertrieb BILD-Gruppe und Zeitschriften Axel Springer AG at Axel Springer SE from April 2010 to August 2010.

Silke started their professional journey with an apprenticeship as Ausbildung zur Werbekauffrau at GWP Werbeagentur from August 2002 to July 2004.

Silke Giesler attended the University of Hamburg from 2004 to 2011, where they earned a diploma in Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Business Administration).
