David Unruh

Office Director at Statistical Research, Inc. (SRI)

David Unruh has a diverse work experience in the field of archaeology and environmental consulting. David began their career as an Archaeological Technician at the Little River Archaeological Project in 2006 and also worked as an Archaeological Technician at the Odyssey Archaeological Research Program during the same period. In 2008, they joined Statistical Research, Inc. (SRI) as an Archaeologist, where they remained until 2017. During this time, they gained expertise and experience in the field.

In 2017, they worked as an Archaeology Technician at the U.S. Forest Service for a brief period of three months. In 2018, David joined SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Cultural Resource Specialist before moving to Statistical Research, Inc. (SRI) again, this time as a Senior Project Director. In May 2020, they were promoted to the role of Office Director at SRI, where they currently work.

David Unruh has a well-rounded education history. David obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Social Sciences from Bethel College-North Newton in the years 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Wichita High School East from 1996 to 2000.

Continuing their education, David went on to earn a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Anthropology from The University of Kansas between 2005 and 2007.

In addition to their academic qualifications, David has also pursued various certifications. David obtained the Pipeline Safety Program certification from Paradigm in 2013. Furthermore, they obtained a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Training Certification, although details regarding the institution and the specific year of obtaining it are not provided. There are also multiple certifications related to permits, such as BIA Permit: Direct Charge, BLM-AZ Permit: Field Director, BLM-NM NW Area Permit: Project Director/Field Supervisor, BLM-NM SE Area Permit: Project Director/Field Supervisor, NM State Burial Permit: Supervisor, NM State Permit: Project Director, and Navajo Nation Permit: Direct Charge.
