Quan Doan

Quan Doan has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology solutions and clinical data management. Quan has held various positions at multiple companies since 2001, including SDC, W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc., Imaging Endpoints, BioPharm Systems, Inc., Statistics & Data Corporation, Favrille, and Pfizer.

At SDC, Quan started as a Clinical Study Operations Manager at Pfizer in 2001. Then, they worked as a Clinical Data Specialist at Favrille from October 2006 to May 2008. Following that, they served as a Validation Consultant at BioPharm Systems, Inc. from January 2008 to May 2008. Quan then joined Statistics & Data Corporation as a Clinical Data Manager II for two years. Later, they became Manager of Clinical Programming at Statistics & Data Corporation, where they contributed to various tasks including database administration, system validation, and quality assurance.

Quan also worked as a Validation Consultant at BioPharm Systems where they performed validation of database systems. Quan worked as a Validation Consultant at Imaging Endpoints where they developed and executed a validation plan for OpenClinica v3.0.4 database systems. Quan also gained experience in clinical software quality assurance at W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc., where they were responsible for overseeing clinical data management system validation deliverables.

Currently, Quan Doan holds the position of Vice President of Technology Solutions at SDC since April 2022. Prior to this role, they have also served as Senior Director and Director of Technology Solutions, as well as Associate Director in both Technology Solutions and EDC Solutions departments at SDC.

Overall, Quan Doan has a rich background in technology solutions, clinical data management, system validation, and quality assurance, making him a well-rounded professional in the field.

Quan Doan has pursued pre-pharmacy studies at Schoolcraft College. Quan also has a background in computer engineering from the University of Michigan and has further studied information technology at the University of Phoenix. In addition to these educational experiences, Quan has obtained certifications as a Medidata Rave Certified Study Builder from Medidata Solutions in 2017 and as a Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM) from the Society of Clinical Data Management (SCDM) in September 2012.
