Elisabeth Hopkins

Elisabeth Hopkins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic statistics and analysis. Currently serving as Avdelningschef for Economic Statistics and Analysis at Statistics Sweden since May 2017, Elisabeth also held the position of Avdelningschef for National Accounts. From March 2019 to June 2022, Elisabeth contributed as a board member of the Swedish Baseball, Softball and Lacrosse Federation. Prior experience includes roles as Prognoschef and Acting Department Head for Analysis and Forecasting at Försäkringskassan, and Head of Labor Market and Price Formation at the Economic Institute. Elisabeth's career began at Sveriges Riksbank as an economist specializing in interest and exchange rate analysis. Academically, Elisabeth holds an Ekonomie licentiat in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and a Master's degree in Economics from Uppsala University.
