Bernardo Ricci Armani

Bernardo Ricci Armani currently serves as the Country Manager for Italy and oversees Business Development for Wind and Solar at Statkraft since October 2020. Previously, Bernardo held the position of Head of Renewables External Development at Edison SpA, where responsibilities included the acquisition of wind and solar projects and development agreements. Bernardo has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, having worked at EDF as Area Manager for Business Development in Turkey and earlier at Edison SpA in various roles related to business development in Turkey. Additionally, Bernardo was a Project Developer at Falck Renewables SpA and Alpiq AG, focusing on renewable energy power plants and gas turbine stations, respectively. Educational credentials include a TRIUM Global Executive MBA awarded jointly by NYU Stern, LSE, and HEC Paris, a Master’s degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, and a Civil Engineering degree from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
