Cengiz Polat

Cengiz Polat is a finance professional with extensive experience in senior financial management and accounting. Currently serving as Senior Finance Manager and CFO Ventures at Statkraft since August 2007, Cengiz specializes in fair value measurement of energy contracts and unquoted equity instruments, as well as IFRS and German GAAP accounting principles and statutory reporting. Prior to this role, Cengiz held various positions, including Head of General & Tax Accounting and Head of Group Accounting at Statkraft, and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft from January 1999 to June 2007, where responsibilities included serving as Senior Associate. Cengiz holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Duisburg-Essen, completed in 1997.
