Miriam Brandes

Miriam Brandes currently serves as the Manager of Political Affairs at Statkraft, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Miriam accumulated extensive experience at European Energy Exchange AG from July 2010 to 2022, focusing on Political and Regulatory Affairs as well as Strategy and Market Design. Earlier in Miriam's career, a position as an Analyst in Fixed Income Research for Interest Rate Derivatives and Structured Products was held at DZ BANK AG from September 2008 to March 2010. Miriam Brandes earned a degree in Economics (Diplom-Volkswirtin) from the University of Potsdam between 2002 and 2008 and also studied at Universitat de Barcelona from 2004 to 2005.
