Scott Gilbert

Scott Gilbert is a senior executive leader and Chartered Civil Engineer with over 25 years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams in the energy, infrastructure, and transportation sectors across the UK, Europe, Nordics, and North America. They began their career as a Site Agent at Raynesway Construction, managing various infrastructure projects, then transitioned to Grontmij | Carl Bro as an Engineer before taking on significant roles at Falck Renewables SpA, where they served as Global Head of Engineering and Construction, and later Head of Design and Construction. Currently, Scott is the Project Director at Statkraft, overseeing the Loch na Cathrach pumped storage hydro scheme, and previously held the position of Managing Director at Verdant Energy, where they led the delivery of a substantial portfolio of renewable energy projects. Scott earned a BEng (Hons) in Civil & Transportation Engineering from Napier University and has been a Chartered Engineer since 2007.
