Leadership Team

The Leadership Team at Stats NZ is responsible for setting the strategic direction and governance of the organization. This team, comprising the Government Statistician, Deputy Chief Executives, and Chief Methodologists, ensures the integrity and quality of statistical outputs, drives innovation in data collection and insights, and oversees the successful execution of key national initiatives, including census operations.
