Marcus Vinicius Rocha Marcal has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marcus Vinicius started their career as a Computer Assembly and Technical Support Assistant at Computech, where they assembled and maintained desktop PCs and provided technical support to customers. Marcus Vinicius then worked as a Network Operation Coordinator, responsible for coordinating technical support teams and maintaining customers' local networks.
Later, they transitioned to the role of Commercial Consultant at Computech, where they provided sales support for both products and services. Marcus Vinicius also worked as an Information Technology Manager, overseeing the management of content for distance learning platforms and the construction of WordPress sites.
In 2012, Marcus joined Voz e Dados as a Technical Trainer, instructing official certifications for Wi-Fi network equipment. Marcus Vinicius also conducted a course on Digital Marketing for ISPs.
Most recently, Marcus joined Stats Perform as a Video Support Engineer and was promoted to Video Support Team Lead. In this role, they lead a team of engineers responsible for supporting and maintaining live and on-demand video systems and workflows to ensure the successful delivery of video content to clients and users.
Throughout their career, Marcus has gained extensive experience in IT and IP-based environments, server and networking support, and troubleshooting technical issues in dynamic and pressurized situations.
Marcus Vinicius Rocha Marcal earned an Engineering Technology degree in Information Technology Management from Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. In 2020, they also pursued a short-term program called "Professional, Emotional and Technological Skills for Times of Change" at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
