Haytham Amer

Haytham Amer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Haytham is currently the Head of Metadata Operations at StatsBomb, a leader in the sport data industry. In this role, they design, manages, and improves metadata and video acquisitions operations for football data collection.

Prior to StatsBomb, Haytham was the Co-Founder and COO of INFOKORA, a bootstrapped start-up that provided football fans engagement solutions and connected businesses with football fans. Haytham played a key role in designing the organic business flow and ensuring high-quality football data collection processes.

Haytham is also a Co-Founder of 123KORA.com, an undisclosed role and duration.

Before venturing into the sports industry, Haytham worked at Vodafone Qatar as a Customer Experience Design Manager, where they led a team in composing, deploying, and managing the customer experience of Vodafone Qatar's products across various touchpoints. Haytham was involved in implementing the TNPS measurement system and redesigning operational processes.

Haytham's early career includes roles at Etisalat Misr as a Six Sigma Black Belt-Technical Excellence Center, where they helped reengineer the technical department processes, and at MADA - Business Consultancy & Technology Services as a Quality Management System Consultant, where they led process improvement and design projects in various industries.

Haytham also has experience at Vodafone Egypt as a Quality Analyst, Process Improvement Specialist, and Customer High Value Advisor.

Haytham Amer completed their Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Ain Shams University between 1998 and 2003. In 2008 to 2009, they pursued a Total Quality Management Diploma in Management System from The American University in Cairo. Haytham further enhanced their skills by completing a Process Improvement Statistical Tool program at The American University in Cairo from 2009 to 2011. In 2009, Haytham received a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Vodafone Group in the UK. Haytham also obtained certifications in CNA (Cisco) in 2005 and MCSE (Microsoft) in the same year. In 2012, they attended PMI for a course in Project Management Professional (PMP). Haytham pursued Customer Experience Design at the Design Thinking School in Amsterdam from 2013 onwards. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Google Data Analytics from Google in April 2021.
