Jason Wang

Jason Wang is a seasoned software engineer with a diverse background in both development and team leadership. Currently employed at Statsig since February 2022, Jason focuses on infrastructure. Prior experience includes a role at Google where Jason worked on Anthos Service Mesh Lifecycle Management and contributed to the Istio UX Working Group. As a Consulting Software Engineer at Red Hat, Jason led a five-engineer team to develop a rules engine application for a major healthcare insurance provider and provided client-facing design and architecture solutions while mentoring team members. Previous internships include developing REST APIs at IBM and research assistance at the UNC School of Information and Library Science. Jason holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
