Joel McWilliam

Joel McWilliam is a Senior Sports Scientist and Account Director for the APAC region at STATSports, where they manage operations for elite and international sporting teams while enhancing the use of GPS technology and athlete tracking data. They previously worked at the National Rugby League as a Sideline Injury Surveillance System Operator and held roles at various organizations, including Science for Sport as a Content Editor. Joel holds a Master's Degree in High Performance Sport from the University of Canberra, complemented by two Bachelor's Degrees in Applied Science in Human Biology and Human Biology from the same institution and the University of Northern Colorado. With a strong foundation in data science, analytics, and sports physiology, they are dedicated to advancing sports science education and practice.
