Jacek Sieka

Jacek Sieka has extensive experience in software development and research, currently serving as The Research Dude and Head of Research Development at Status since April 2018, where involvement in Ethereum and open-source technologies is prominent. Prior to this role, Jacek held the position of Head of Software Development at Grasshopper Pte Ltd from October 2012 to March 2018, focusing on algorithmic and high-frequency trading platforms. Jacek's earlier career includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Algorithmica Research, Technical Lead at Hoplo srl, and Software Consultant at Valderas Consulting, along with a brief tenure as a Teaching Assistant at KTH. Jacek earned a Master of Science in Parallel and Distributed Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and participated in an Erasmus program in Computer Science at Politecnico di Milano.
