Martin Vesterby

Initiator, Co-founder and Board member at Stauning Whisky

Martin Vesterby has held a variety of roles in the healthcare industry since 2003. In 2019, they became the Health Tech Adoption Manager and Board Member of Health Tech Hub Copenhagen. In 2021, they became Co-Founder of RobinTech and Ekstern Lektor at Aarhus University. Martin also became Board Member of Danish Life Science Cluster and TIME:ANGELS. In 2019, they were Co-founder and member of the Steering Committee and the Executive Committee of BioMedical Design Novo Nordisk Foundation Fellowship Programme. From 2003 to 2012, they were the Owner of MedData ApS, providing consulting in regard to business creation, innovation and entrepreneurship. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Chief Medical Officer, Co-founder and Board member of Visikon, which develops and provides new media solutions to the healthcare industry. From 2013 to 2021, they were the Director at INNO-X Healthcare, Aarhus University, offering courses and further educations to develop and integrate healthcare solutions. Finally, from 2005 to 2021, they were Initiator, Co-founder and Board member of Stauning Whisky.

Martin Vesterby began their education in 1996 when they attended Aarhus University and earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD). Martin then attended Karolinska Institutet from 1999-2000 to study Medicin. In 2009, they returned to Aarhus University and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Telemedicine and Innovation in 2014. That same year, they were an Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley for the Lean Launchpad program. In 2018, they completed the d.school Teaching and Learning Studio program at Stanford University in Design Thinking. Martin Vesterby also attended Stauning Skole, though no degree or field of study is listed.
