Jongmyung Ha

Jongmyung Ha has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jongmyung started their career as a Data Entry Clerk at Open SE in 2003 and then worked as a Human resource and IT Technician in the Republic of Korea Army. In this role, they provided general office support and maintained Unix servers.

After that, Ha worked as a Web Developer at Comas interactive, where they were responsible for developing online advertisement systems and had experience with ASP, JSP, MS-SQL, HTML, and Javascript. Jongmyung then joined Columbia College as an IT Director, where they developed the School website and School management system using PHP, MySQL, Codeigniter, Zeroboard, and WordPress. Additionally, they implemented IoT for the Prometric testing center and managed networking, web and file servers, and phone systems.

Ha worked as a Software Developer at World Bankcard Services, where they developed the POS system, handled PCI compliance, and worked with WPF in C#, MS-SQL, PHP, MySQL, and Visual Basic. Jongmyung also had experience in package delivery as Windows installer.

At General Dynamics Information Technology, Ha worked as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Engineer Software. In these roles, they developed various components for multi-lingual news websites, including data mining, data integrity, metrics report, user management, content management, comment management, translation management, and invoice management. Jongmyung had extensive experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, HTML/HAML, CSS/SASS, Javascript, JQuery, and Bootstrap.

After that, Ha joined Stayntouch as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led the development of the Property management system, external system integrations, and software architecture. Jongmyung also worked as an Engineering Manager, responsible for managing large-scale, complex projects, hiring and mentoring engineers, and having a hands-on understanding of application, system, and cloud architectures. In 2022, they became the Director of Engineering at Stayntouch.
