Markus Hartikainen

Markus Hartikainen is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in instrumentation and control (I&C) systems. Currently serving as I&C Engineering Manager at Steady Energy since November 2025, Markus has held various leadership and engineering positions at Sweco from 2019 to 2025, including Project Manager and Team Manager. Previous roles at Fortum included I&C System Manager and Design Engineer, focusing on ageing management and power plant design projects. Early career experiences involve design engineering at ABB and contributions to the Loviisa Nuclear Power Plant project at Fortum. Markus began in R&D test engineering at Metso Automation as a trainee.
