Abigail Lawson

Abigail Lawson currently serves as an Impact Manager at Steady since February 2024. Previously, Lawson directed the Tacoma's Guaranteed Income Program, GRIT, at the United Way of Pierce County from September 2021 to December 2023, focusing on providing monthly unrestricted income to Tacomans. Lawson also interned at the Pierce County Public Defender's Office, where case investigation and report drafting were key responsibilities, and at the United Way of Pierce County, contributing to committees related to guaranteed income initiatives. Earlier experience includes coordinating events and serving as an administrative assistant at LDM Worldwide Corp from 2019 to 2020. Education includes a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Washington and an Associate's degree in Art from Tacoma Community College.
