Aaron Farmer

Aaron Farmer is a seasoned professional in the railway industry, currently serving as the Manager of Mechanical and previously as Motive Power Foreman at the Steam Railroading Institute since February 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Diesel Mechanic at Road & Rail Services from August 2018 to February 2019, and Locomotive Engineer at The Henry Ford from April 2012 to June 2018, where responsibilities involved operating steam and diesel locomotives as well as maintenance work during off-seasons. Aaron also held leadership positions as Director at the Port Huron & Detroit Railroad Historical Society from January 2014 to July 2017 and worked as Shop Laborer & Conductor at Railmark Holdings, Inc. from September 2010 to May 2012. Education includes a diploma from Oakland Schools Technical Campus - Southwest and completion of high school at Harrison High School.
