Liliana Edmonds is currently working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at MIT Research Laboratory of Electronics since February 2020. In their role, Liliana is involved in the development of multi-material fibers with electronic and optoelectronic properties. Liliana also contributes to medical device development by analyzing image processing techniques for metadata extraction from spectrograms. Additionally, Liliana is implementing signal processing techniques for blind source separation on heartbeat waveforms. Concurrently, Liliana serves as a Teacher's Assistant at STEAM:CODERS, where Liliana assists in teaching coding classes for children aged approximately 7-12, focusing on underserved and underrepresented minorities in STEM fields.
