Ethan Werner

Ethan Werner is currently an Applications Engineer Intern at Steampunk, Inc., and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech Business Information Technology, where the focus is on enhancing student proficiency in Python, APIs, web scraping, and data analysis techniques. Previous experience includes a Data Analytics and Full-Stack Development Intern position at QRGenetics, where Ethan compiled and cleaned a database to map gene-drug interactions and integrated it into a tool suite to improve research efficiency. Additionally, Ethan served as a General Counselor and Ropes Course Specialist at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh from June 2020 to August 2022. Ethan is pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Computer Software Engineering at Virginia Tech, expected to graduate in May 2025.
