Morgan Loomis

Morgan Loomis is a seasoned professional in animation and rigging, currently serving as Rigging Supervisor at Steamroller Studios since January 2022. Freelance work has been undertaken since September 2019, offering expertise in animation, rigging, and pipeline development for various media including film, television, and video games. Previous experience includes roles as Lead Animator at Weta Digital, contributing to notable projects such as "Mortal Engines" and "Lady and the Tramp," and as Character Supervisor at Huhu Studios, where a character pipeline was designed and crew members were interviewed and hired. Morgan's extensive background also features key positions at Weta Digital on major titles including "The Hobbit" series and "Avatar," as well as earlier work at Tippett Studio and Wild Brain. Education includes a BFA in Animation from the Academy of Art University, complementing prior studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
