Tony D'Aurio

Tony D'Aurio is an experienced animator currently serving as Lead Animator at Steamroller Studios since August 2018, having previously held the role of Animator. At Animation Mentor, Tony contributed as a Tutor from April 2018 to March 2020, assisting struggling students, and served as a Peer Buddy from January 2016 to June 2017, providing feedback to newer animators. Additional experience includes a position as a 3D Animator at Run Totti Run and as a Lab Artist at Lightstorm Entertainment, where responsibilities involved utilizing mocap and animation techniques to create seamless actions. Previously, Tony worked as an Animator/Previs at HEROmation, focusing on character motions and film sequences. Tony D'Aurio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Game and Interactive Media Design from Becker College and an Associate's degree in General Studies from CT State Naugatuck Valley. Notably, Tony received the Mentor’s Choice Award in Character Animation while studying at Animation Mentor.
