Barak Palatchi

Barak Palatchi joined Steba biotech in March 2020 as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Barak has a vast experience in senior executive positions in Pharma, Biotech and other industries worldwide and brings to Steba valuable knowledge of the global pharmaceutical, biotech and health industry.

Before joining Steba, Barak worked as Chief Operations Officer at Advanced Accelerator Applications (AAA)- a biotech company acquired by Novartis in 2018.

With his passion for patients and relentless drive for success, Barak guided AAA’s transition in its merger with Novartis, establishing strong commercial and operations capabilities to ensure AAA future growth.

Barak focused AAA business on the development of Radioligand therapies, precision imaging drugs, leading AAA’s new Products launch in NET and Prostate across multiple markets, exiting contract manufacturing, distribution agreements and key successful partnership negotiations.

Prior to his role in AAA, Barak held Senior Executive positions at Novartis including Oncology General Manager- UK & Ireland and Oncology General Manager- Israel.

Previous positions held by Barak include: Head of Marketing for Samsung Israel, 7 years with Pfizer Israel in various positions including Business Unit Director, Marketing Director and Public Affairs Director. During his time with Pfizer he gained extensive experience in Market Access as well as the commercialization of Oncology and General Medicine products.
