Omar Rios

Omar Rios is an experienced Warehouse Supervisor at Steel Dynamics, Inc., with responsibilities including finished product warehousing, multimodal dispatch, inventory control, supplier management, supplies oversight, and area safety management since March 2022. Previously, Rios spent over three decades at Ternium, where roles included Chief of Customized Programming from 2016 to 2021, overseeing industrial activities and production planning for customized plants, and managing tube production scheduling. Rios also has experience in programming from Galvak between 2000 and 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Management from the Escuela de Organización Industrial, Spain, and a Master's in Productivity and Quality, along with a degree in Mechanical Metallurgical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
