Tom Stinson

Tom Stinson is an experienced Environmental Engineer with a diverse background in environmental management and chemical processes. Currently employed at Steel Dynamics, Inc. since May 2014, Tom focuses on environmental engineering initiatives. Previously, Tom worked as an Industry Technology Specialist at Novozymes Biologicals and served as Environmental Manager at Verso Paper, where significant contributions included the creation of Environmental Management Systems for ISO 14001 certification and overseeing compliance with environmental permits. Earlier roles also include Process Chemist at Inland Container Corporation and Quality Control Chemist at Ferro Corp. - Grant Chemical. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Louisiana State University and has additional educational qualifications from Liberty University and Virginia Commonwealth University.
