Richard Smyth

Richard joined the Company on 27 April 2021. A fellow chartered accountant, Richard has financial and senior level leadership experience across the entertainment and energy sectors. He commenced his career in 1991 within PwC’s audit team in Wellington before working in PwC’s Auckland, Dallas, Texas, and London offices. Richard joined SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited in 2005 and was their Deputy Chief Financial Officer before commencing as Chief Financial Officer with Steel & Tube. Richard is a board member of the New Zealand Accounting Standards Board.
