Cory Patton has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Cory is currently working as a Game Designer at Steel Wool Studios since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Flyover Studios as the Owner, providing game design, production, and software consultation services. Cory also worked at Paragon 360 as a 3D Artist and Scenic Designer, where they created environments using 3ds max and Unreal Engine. Cory was an integral part of Spellbook Studios, LLC for six years, taking on roles as an Artist, Designer, and QA, where they developed game concepts, created art assets, and implemented animation systems using Unity. Additionally, Cory served as an Adjunct Professor at Missouri State University, teaching an introductory course on video game design. Cory began their career at Black Lantern Studios, starting as an intern and eventually becoming the Lead Artist, where they gained a wide range of skills in 3D modeling, animation, UX design, project management, and team leadership.
Cory Patton obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Computer Animation from Missouri State University in 2009.
