Diogo Lima

Diogo Lima has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Diogo started their career as an Assistant at Padaria e Pastelaria Dora in 2014, before transitioning to a Receptionist role at Hotel Residencial Dora. In 2018, they joined the Algoritmi Centre as an MSc's Project participant, and simultaneously worked as a researcher at the Biosystems Research Group | CEB | University of Minho. At the university, they also completed their MSc's Thesis, where they developed and implemented a repository for transcriptional regulatory information. In 2019, they became a Research Fellow at the University of Minho, a position they held until 2020. Diogo then joined SteelEye in 2020 as a Python Developer | Trade Surveillance Engineer, and they currently serve as a Python Developer - Data Integration Team Lead at SteelEye.

Diogo Lima completed their education history with a Master of Engineering degree in Bioinformatics from the Universidade do Minho between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Biology-Geology from the same university, studying from 2013 to 2016.
