Josep Lluis Marcó has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Josep Lluis began their career in 1991 as a Controller at Biokit, a Werfen Company, and later served as the Financial Director at Werfen Mexico. In 1998, they became the Finance Manager at RCD Espanyol de Barcelona. Josep Lluis then transitioned into the role of General Manager at Acero - Media Planning Group, followed by a similar position at RCD Espanyol de Barcelona. From 2000 to 2004, they served as the General Manager at RCD Espanyol de Barcelona. In 2005, Marcó joined Amrop as a Member of the International Board and Executive Committee, where they stayed until 2020. Josep Lluis also worked at Steelter | Human Power Through Technology, a talent management platform, as the Co-Founder and President. Since 2005, they have been a Senior Partner at Seeliger y Conde • Kingsley Gate, where they specialize in executive search for family-owned companies and the professional services sector. In addition to their professional roles, they are currently serving as the President of Club Tennis Llafranc, starting in 2022. Overall, Marcó has extensive experience in board design and assessment, executive search, talent management, and leadership positions.
Josep Lluis Marcó obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Esade from 1985 to 1990. In 2004, they completed a Postgraduate Degree in the General Management Program PDG at IESE Business School. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2006, they pursued an ICF Certified Executive Coach degree at Escuela Europea de Coaching, specializing in Human Resources Management and Services. Recently, in 2018 and 2019, they received a Certified Corporate Director degree with a focus on Corporate Governance and Boards from Harvard Business School.
