Barbara Filippo

Barbara Filippo is a co-owner and lawyer at SteensmaEven, specializing in labor law with a focus on integrity cases, dismissal issues, collective labor agreements, reorganizations, and employer liability. In addition to legal practice, Barbara serves as a board member for the Vereniging Rotterdamse Arbeidsrecht Advocaten and contributes as an author for SDU Commentaar Arbeidsrecht Thematisch, overseeing the theme of collective dismissal. Barbara has been a lecturer at Erasmus University Rotterdam since 2006, teaching various labor law courses and co-authoring multiple legal textbooks. Educational qualifications include master's degrees in Civil Law and Company Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and further studies at Grotius Academie.
