Samuel Pires

Samuel Pires has extensive work experience in the field of IT and project management. Samuel started their career at the University of Coimbra as an intern, where they implemented a distributed system for a pharmaceutical laboratory. After that, they worked as a junior Java developer at Netvita and later joined Banco Santander as a senior Java and C# developer, specializing in solutions for exchange markets.

In 2008, Samuel joined Business & Decision as a lead management deployment manager, overseeing the deployment of lead management and claim processes for PSA countries. Samuel then moved to Groupe PSA, where they served as the Deployment Manager for CRM and later became the Head of Deployment for Digital and CRM. Samuel was responsible for defining, implementing, and improving deployment processes for digital and CRM solutions in various regions and countries of PSA Groupe.

In 2019, Samuel joined Stellantis as the Head of Build and Delivery for Digital and CRM, leading and managing IT skills for the build and delivery of the Customer Digital Factory. Samuel recently transitioned to their current role as the Head of IT Core Bank systems & Strategic Program leader at Banque PSA Finance. In this position, they are responsible for leading and managing IT skills for the build and delivery of core bank systems and the Bank Stellantis convergence program.

Throughout their career, Samuel has managed large budgets, worked with cross-functional teams, and has experience in agile methodologies.

From 2000 to 2005, Samuel Pires attended Universidade de Coimbra, where they pursued a BAC +5 degree in Computer Software Engineering.
