Competitor Benchmarking Engineer

Daniel Sanderson is an experienced automotive engineer with a strong background in competitive analysis and systems integration. Currently serving as a Competitor Benchmarking Engineer at Stellantis since March 2015, Daniel leads benchmarking analysis of competitor products and supervises internal teardown lab activities. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a Systems Integration Engineer at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, focusing on New Vehicle Architecture and leading cross-functional teams. Earlier experience includes serving as a Product Engineer at LG Chem Power, Inc., where Daniel specialized in battery system design, and as a Service Parts Analyst at Chrysler. Daniel holds a Graduate Certificate in Electric-Drive Vehicle Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University. Additional education includes a non-credit course in Transportation Design from the College for Creative Studies.
