Donna Reeves

Donna Reeves has a diverse work experience in the banking and finance industry. Donna started their career in 1979 at First Texas Bank, where they worked in various roles, including teller, new accounts, credit department, bookkeeping, proof, accounting, and payroll. In 1990, they joined Security Abstract & Title Co. as an Escrow Officer for a brief period. In 1991, they moved to BankOne, Texas, where they initially worked as an Assistant Cashier and later transitioned into the role of Assistant Branch Manager. From 1999 to 2002, they worked at Mauriceville National Bank as an Assistant Vice President and Internal Auditor. In 2002, they joined Stellar Bank as the Executive Vice President and Director of Audit. Donna continued to work at Stellar Bank even after it was acquired by CommunityBank of Texas in 2007.

Donna Reeves attended Lamar State College Orange in 2001. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Vidor High School from 1976 to 1980. In 1986, they attended the University of Oklahoma Graduate Compliance School. Donna also attended the University of Oklahoma Compliance School in 1985. Additionally, Donna obtained additional certifications including Certified Chief Audit Executive from cRisk Academy in 2022, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Certification and Internal Control Certification from Illumeo in 2018, and Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor from the Independent Community Bankers Association in 2008. Donna also received training at the American Institute of Banking in various fields such as accounting, supervisory skills, real estate loans, new accounts, and principles of banking.
