Jake Jacobs has extensive experience in the construction industry. Jake started their career as a Pipe General Foreman and later became a Lead Piping Superintendent at SNC-Lavalin. Jake supervised various commercial and residential projects, including condos, apartments, and dental offices. At SNC-Lavalin, they also served as a Lead Pipe Superintendent and managed a trade contractor.
After that, Jake worked at Millennium, Owen and Long Electric companies as an Electrical Supervisor, overseeing electricians and helpers for commercial and residential projects.
Jake then joined Landsouth Construction as a Project Superintendent, where they supervised the construction of a nine-story condominium in Jacksonville Beach.
Next, Jake worked at Break Ground Construction Co as a Project Superintendent before joining SNC-Lavalin again. At SNC-Lavalin, they held various roles, including Piping Superintendent and Construction Engineer.
Jake'smost recent position is Director of Field Services - Mechanical Division at Stellar, where they manage Plumbing, HVAC, and Mechanical Utility Installations across the United States. Jake is responsible for project execution, assigning supervision and manpower, and ensuring quality standards and progress tracking.
Jake Jacobs attended Contractors School from 2005 to 2006 and obtained a Florida General Contractors License, specializing in the Florida General Contractors Exam. In addition, they have acquired various certifications including Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in May 2023, a Plumbing Contractor certification from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency in February 2023, a Plumber [Master] certification from the Arkansas Department of Health in November 2022, a Master Plumber certification from Seward County, Nebraska in September 2022, and a Master Plumber certification from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation in January 2019.
