Nong Yu has a strong background in engineering and research. They have experience as an Electrical Engineer at Stellar Pizza, where they are currently employed. Prior to this, Nong worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Biomimetic Research Lab, where they designed a wireless implantable neural interface and developed firmware and GUI using various programming languages. Nong also worked as an Instructor at the Center for Excellence in Engineering and Diversity, University of California, Los Angeles, where they prepared and graded assignments and provided instructional support. They gained research experience as a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University Center for Automotive Research, where they worked on motor control algorithms and conducted electromagnetic FEA. Additionally, Nong worked as a Lab Monitor at The Ohio State University and the Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence, where they assisted with various projects and prototyping.
Nong Yu completed high school at Nanning No. 3 High School from 2011 to 2014. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology from 2014 to 2016. Following this, Nong Yu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Miami University from 2016 to 2017. They continued their education at The Ohio State University from 2017 to 2020, focusing on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Currently, Nong Yu is pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at UCLA from 2020 to 2022.
