Conrad Poelman

Conrad Poelman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Conrad began their career at Carnegie Mellon University as a Graduate Student, where they conducted research on shape from motion algorithms under Prof. Takeo Kanade. In 1995, they joined the US Air Force as a Major, where they primarily focused on developing imagery and 3D model analysis software for the exploitation and analysis of space surveillance imagery. Conrad then founded Stellar Science Ltd Co in 1999, where they initially handled various roles such as hands-on research, software development, bookkeeping, contract administration, management, business development, and IT support. Over the years, Stellar Science Ltd Co has grown significantly, with offices in Albuquerque, NM and Tysons, VA.

Conrad Poelman began their education in 1986 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Conrad completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, as well as Aerospace Engineering, in the year 1990. Following this, they pursued further studies at Carnegie Mellon University from 1990 to 1995, ultimately earning their Ph.D. in Computer Science.
