Jose Salcido

Jose Salcido is a seasoned Space Systems Analyst with experience at Stellar Science Ltd Co since October 2018, contributing to business development and managing client relationships while supporting successful SBIR and STTR proposals. Previously, Jose served as a Scientific Data Analyst II at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, leading the VLASS imaging group and providing technical support for the CASA software package, along with a role as Operations Specialist II where scientific observations were executed independently. Prior experience includes instructing physics and astronomy courses at Guided Discoveries, conducting research at UCLA on infrared astronomical data, developing a database for the U.S. Census Bureau, and serving as a marketing and customer service representative at Intel Corporation. Jose holds a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from UCLA, a Master of Science in Physics with Specialization in Instrumentation from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, and two associate degrees in Liberal Arts and Computer Networking and Information Technology.
