Amy Christen

Amy Christen has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and pharmacy. Amy currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Stellus Rx since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Banner Health where they held various roles such as Sr. Director of Divisional HR, Division HR Business Partner, Sr. HR Business Partner, HR Business Partner, and Senior Human Resources Consultant from 2017 to 2023.

Before joining Banner Health, Amy worked at CVS Health as a Sr. Advisor of HR Business Partner, providing HR and employee relations support to colleagues in CVS stores. Amy also served as a Store Opening Project Manager and a Pharmacy Consultant at Target, where they focused on training and developing pharmacy operations. Earlier in their career, Amy worked as a Group Pharmacy Leader and a Pharmacy Operations Leader at Target, overseeing the operations and performance of multiple pharmacy locations.

Amy began their career as a Staff Pharmacist at Albertsons and Walgreens where they compounded and dispensed medications, provided patient medication counseling, and ensured compliance with legal requirements.

Amy Christen received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In 2010, they pursued a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree in Human Resources and Employee Relations at Penn State University, completing their studies in 2013. Currently, Amy is working towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Kansas, expected to be completed between 2022 and 2025. Additionally, they hold two certifications as a Licensed Pharmacist, one from the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and another from the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy.
