Poonam Munshi

Poonam Munshi has extensive experience in software development and engineering, currently serving as Director of Software Development at Stem, Inc. since December 2015. In this role, Poonam leads a six-person team in delivering SaaS solutions for electrical utilities, successfully transitioning the codebase to a microservice architecture and significantly reducing bug rates. Key achievements include the implementation of a tariff microservice and a dispatch system for distributed energy resources. Previously, Poonam held positions at Powerit Solutions, WatchGuard Technologies, ENSCO, and the Bioinformatics Research Center, contributing to various energy management and user interface projects. Poonam holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
