Dermot Kenny is an accomplished leader in the clinical technology and data operations field with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as CEO of STEM since November 2021, Dermot previously held prominent positions at Novartis from January 2017 to November 2021, where responsibilities included Global Head of Clinical Technology and Innovation as well as Global Head of Data Operations. Prior to that, Dermot spent seven years at ICON plc, culminating in the role of Executive Vice President, Global Clinical and Data Operations, and overseeing significant revenue generation and process innovation. Early career roles included Director of Data Management at ICON Clinical Research and Research Scientist at Dstl. Dermot holds a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Dublin City University, earned between 1991 and 1995.
